Investor Relations

LIPA makes the most recent budgets, official statements, rate information, bond resolutions, rating agency reports, and other fiscal information relating to investor relations available for your convenience. Our investor relations webpage contains information for investors, potential investors, financial analysts, journalists, and members of the public.

While LIPA owns the electrical transmission and distribution system serving our community, we contract for most of the management services and power supply used to operate the electric grid. In 2013, the LIPA Reform Act restructured utility operations and reformed LIPA’s governance and operations services agreements. The Reform Act also capped property tax increases and reduced LIPA’s cost of debt, using another entity with higher credit ratings to refinance the majority of LIPA’s bonds.

Since 2014, LIPA has contracted with PSEG Long Island, a subsidiary of Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated (PSEG), a publicly traded diversified energy company, for management services. LIPA provides service to customers under the PSEG Long Island brand name. The current contract with PSEG Long Island expires in 2025.
