Proposed Rulemaking
The following proposals will be considered at an upcoming Board of Trustees meeting:
- LIPA proposes to modify the Tariff for Electric Service to implement a new electric vehicle charging rate available to commercial customers. The EV Phase-In Rate will support the development of EV charging infrastructure by providing customers with a discounted rate. To view the entire proposal, click here.
- LIPA proposes to modify the Tariff for Electric Service to sunset older commercial time-of-use Rates Codes 282 and 288 and to transition currently enrolled customers to the more modern time-of-use Rate Codes 292 and 294, respectively. To view the entire proposal, click here.
Written comments on the above proposals can be emailed to [email protected] by June 9, 2025. Comments will be provided to the Board of Trustees for their consideration. Comments can also be provided at the following public comment sessions:
