Theresa A. Regnante serves as President & Chief Executive Officer of United Way of Long Island, where she has been a catalyst for positive change since May, 2009.
She is currently leading the nonprofit organization, founded in 1965, together with its 110 community partners in supporting strategic initiatives that have a measurable and lasting impact in improving education, income stability, and health throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Theresa has been widely honored and recognized regionally for her accomplishments.
Theresa is a member of the Leadership Advisory Cabinet of the Long Island Regional Planning Council, the Long Island Index Advisory Committee, Adelphi University’s Institute for Social Research & Community Engagement, Vital Signs Advisory Board, and Hofstra University’s Master of Public Health Program Advisory Committee. A graduate of the Energeia Partnership Class of 2009, Theresa also serves on the Boards of the Advancement of Commerce, Industry and Technology and LISTnet.
