Brian Rudowski
Acting Chief Information Officer
Brian Rudowski serves as LIPA’s Acting Chief Information Officer, overseeing the development and implementation of information technology (IT) strategies, security measures, and service provider performance. With over 40 years of IT experience, Mr. Rudowski has held director and manager-level positions at utilities and various technology organizations.
Before being appointed as Acting Chief Information Officer, Mr. Rudowski served as LIPA’s Director of Cyber Security Architecture, where he was instrumental in designing and implementing cybersecurity protocols to safeguard critical infrastructure and mitigate cyber risks. He has also served as LIPA’s Director of Information Security and Compliance Oversight. Prior to his tenure at LIPA, Mr. Rudowski held several positions at the New Jersey-based Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G), including IT Security Manager and IT Manager System Services – Operations.
Mr. Rudowski holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Saint Peter’s College.
