Port Jefferson Power Station 1948-1960.

Port Jefferson Power Plant was completed with a 40,000KW unit complemented by another 40,000KW unit in 1960. The units yielded high fuel economy and a new 66,000 voltage line to Holbrook. A 75,000KW interconnection between LILCO and Con Edison is established from Valley Stream to Jamaica, Queens.
