The Authority’s operating subsidiary, the Long Island Lighting Company d/b/a LIPA, currently obtains fuel management services through contracts that are set to expire on or about May 27, 2013. The Authority is seeking fuel management services for a Term commencing on May 28, 2013 and ending on December 31, 2014, with a unilateral LIPA option to extend the arrangement to December 31, 2019.
