LIPAedge is an energy conservation program created by LIPA to help you get the most out or your energy dollars, while helping Long Island’s electric system operate as efficiently as possible. Know you are doing your part to ensure that our entire electric system is at its best during times of increasing demand.

Program Highlights

• FREE programmable thermostat & installation
• Control your own thermostat while giving LIPA the capability to tap into consumer-based "power reserves" when needed.
• You will agree to have your CAC system adjusted between the hours of 2PM and 6PM, for a maximum of 7 days, throughout the summer.
• Remotely adjust your air conditioner whenever you want, over the Web.
