LIPA Holds Energy Conservation Fair at CA Headquarters
Uniondale, NY—March 21, 2008— Rising energy costs are an immediate
concern for many Long Islanders. Today the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA)
hosted an Energy Conservation fair at CA’s Islandia Headquarters, to help raise
employees’ awareness of products and services that can increase energy
efficiency in their homes and save money.
Founded in 1976, CA, one of the world's largest independent software
companies; provides software solutions to unify and simplify™ IT management. CA
employees were introduced to a wide variety of programs in LIPA’s Clean Energy

electric bills while protecting the environment.
“The participation by CA in today’s energy conservation fair demonstrates the
significant role that companies play in helping to make our Island more energy
efficient,” said LIPA President and CEO Kevin S. Law. “Business, government and
community leaders must all pitch in through programs like this one, to relay the
message of energy consumption and energy efficiency.”
