With LIPA's rebate municipalities, schools and non-profit organizations significantly reduce the cost of purchasing a PV system.

LIPA Rebate for Municipalities, Schools and Not-for-Profit Organizations*

Must be an electric customer located in LIPA service territory
LIPA rebates are valid only for new grid-connected PV systems
$4.50 per watt up to 10 kW with a maximum of $45,000
$2.50 per watt for greater than 10 kW to 50 kW PV systems with a maximum of $100,000
$1.00 per watt for greater than 50 kW to 100 kW PV systems with a maximum of $ 50,000
Total Maximum Rebate amount is $195,000
Rebates are on a first-come, first-serve basis pending application pre-approval by LIPA

Municipalities, Schools and Not-for-Profit Organizations	Capped at 100 kW

11-50 kW..............................................................................................	$2.50/watt
51 to 100 kW........................................................................................	$1.00/watt

The Maximum Rebate paid by LIPA per metered account will not exceed 100kW DC or 50% of the installed costs, whichever is less.

*An exception to this would be Houses of Worship, who conform to a residential rate code (i.e., 180, 181, etc.). These customers are eligible to receive $4.50/watt up to the maximum 10kW cap for residential customers.
