cutting "edge" technology to ensure that you get not only reliable
service, but even more. This program offers you unique
control features while giving LIPA the increasingly necessary
capability to tap into consumer-based "power reserves" when
needed. By using your CAC less often - only when you need it -
you will also be lowering your summer electric bills.

your part to ensure that our entire electric system - comprised of
electric facilities and electric customers - is the best that it can

Take the “edge” off your Electric Bills!
By partnering with LIPA and taking part in the LIPAedge
Program, you will agree to have your CAC system adjusted between
the hours of 2 PM and 6 PM, for a maximum of 7 days, throughout
the summer. Using Internet technology, you will be able to
remotely change the set point of your air conditioner whenever
you want.
