Once you determine if you qualify under LIPA’s Not-For-Profit guidelines you will need to contact us for an audit.

Interested in having a LIPA representative identify potential areas for improvement to lower your energy bills? If so, download the audit request form. Once the audit is complete you will receive incentives for qualifying measures, including Lighting  and HVAC, to help offset your costs.

Commercial Construction Program Overview
There are three paths in the Commercial Construction Program; each one designed to fit the needs of a particular customer

Prescriptive Approach
Offers incentives for choosing equipment from a pre-qualified list of energy-efficient measures.

Custom Approach
Provides technical assistance, incentives and the flexibility to choose unique measures not on the Prescriptive list.

Whole Building Design Approach
A comprehensive approach in which you, your building design team and LIPA-supported experts work together, from concept to completion, to develop an energy efficiency plan specially designed for your entire building.

* By participating in this program, customer agrees that LIPA obtains and/or retains ownership of all rights to existing and future emissions credits, renewable energy credits, green tags, tradable renewable certificates and/or any and all other environmental benefits associated with the installation of the eligible equipment.
