Electric Safety Classroom Presentations
3rd, 4th and 5th grade teachers, did you know that LIPA offers a classroom presentation on electric safety? As you plan your school calendar, LIPA would like to make you aware of our in-classroom instruction. AT NO COST TO YOUR SCHOOL, a retired or current employee of LIPA will come to your school and conduct a 30-45 minute class on the do’s and don’ts of conduct around electricity. This presentation is very enjoyable for the students. It is best done in front of a group of no more than 75 students in an all-purpose room with theater style seating.
All students will receive an activity book on the lesson, which is also available for downloading on the Electric Universe portion of our Web site.
